Specification of Our Departments
B2B Sales Department – deals with cooperation with institutional Clients from Poland and international corporations from the food segment. Our recipients include international food concerns, leading yogurt producers, and companies from the confectionery and convenience sectors. The main task of the B2B channel is to adapt the existing offer or develop a product tailored to the specialized needs of the Client.
Research and Development Department – for a new product to be created, its recipe must first be developed, and the technological process outlined. Technologists working in the Research and Development Department are responsible for selecting ingredients, developing new flavors, and improving existing ones so that Consumers are even more satisfied with the flavors of our products. Employees are characterized by traits such as accuracy, conscientiousness, and commitment to assigned tasks.
Marketing Department – these are people who combine creation with analytics. This is where the world of each of our brands is created. Specialists in this area take care of every detail that builds the image of products in the eyes of consumers. The opportunity to work with the best brands and responsibility for their market position are the daily challenges for Brand Marketing employees.
Customer Marketing Department – They know everything about how to effectively transfer the marketing strategy directly to the store and what influences the decision-making process during shopping. Based on this, they design, implement, coordinate, and evaluate promotional activities in their work. The proper arrangement of products on the shelf and additional displays, their presence in the right place and time are of key importance.
Finance and Accounting Department – includes Finance, Accounting, Controlling, and Settlements Department. Their work involves creating tools for effective planning and providing current information on achieved results, maintaining continuous contact with our external clients (Contractors, Banks, Offices, Courts) to ensure financial liquidity and fulfill statutory obligations. Openness to change, the ability to think analytically, draw conclusions, and teamwork are essential in this Department.
GTM Department – analyzes, among other things, the market in which we operate and the behavior of our consumers, and also creates recommendations for distribution and commercial activities aimed at effectively reaching the product to the store.
Graphic Department – consists of two teams (Design and Prepress) of talented individuals who influence what the world of our brands, products, and social programs looks like. The right composition, appropriate color selection, sensitivity to aesthetics, and technical knowledge are just some of the elements characterizing the activities of the Graphic Department.
Sales Department – Maspex Sales Department is one of the largest in the country. It deals with the sale of products both in the traditional channel (wholesale and retail) and modern channel (retail chains). The range of positions held by the employees of this Department reflects the enormous scale of our company's operations – it employs, among others, Merchandisers, Sales Representatives, and Regional Managers who ensure excellent sales of our products throughout Poland.
HR Department – As a socially responsible employer, the company provides employees with a range of activities that influence competence development. Specialists from the Training Team deal with identifying training needs, organizing and coordinating further education programs, and coordinating activities in the area of 360 Evaluation and the Competency Model. The Recruitment Team also works intensively within the HR Department, whose main task is to invite the best candidates to cooperate and coordinate the Onboarding Process. In this Department, you will also find the Coaches Team responsible, among others, for raising the competence of managerial staff, and the HRBP Team, which operates in HR task areas in our Production Plants.
IT Department – is responsible for the maintenance and development of central business applications used by Employees from all Departments of our company in Poland and abroad. They also manage LAN and WAN networks, and communication systems – e-mail, video conferencing systems. They are also responsible for broadly understood cybersecurity and high-availability server systems. The IT Department employs experienced engineers, IT specialists, application specialists, programmers, database specialists, network and server system specialists, who also seek new technologies on the market, such as: IoT, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and others.
Quality Department – aims to guarantee the delivery of a product to the client that meets or even exceeds their requirements. For the company, this gives a positive image on the market and significantly facilitates further development.
Personnel Department – employs a total of over 7,500 people. Every day they ensure that all employment- related procedures are carried out in accordance with the letter of the law, as well as the correct calculation of salaries, working time, and holidays.
Logistics Department – deals with the planning and analysis of warehouse spaces, working out delivery routes, and coordinating the transport of goods. Employees are characterized by competencies such as good work organization, operativeness, and independence in action. They work towards one goal: for Maspex products to reach Clients on time and in the right quantity.
Private Label Department – is primarily responsible for conducting cooperation and sales with Clients in the scope of service production under the clients' brands (so-called private label).
Media&Digital Department – decisions on implementing campaigns in particular media are made right here. The tasks of the specialists working here include precise planning of which medium will feature the advertisement for Kubuś, Tymbark, or Lubella: whether it will be television, Facebook, or maybe we will focus on cooperation with influencers. This department is also responsible for building mobile applications, constructing contests or digital campaigns, content presence in channels such as YouTube, caring for our websites, and partial communication in social media. In this department, planning skills, analysis, keeping up to date with the latest knowledge in the field of digital, and responding to rapidly changing trends in this environment are valuable.
DMD Department – was established to maximize business effectiveness through appropriate collection, processing, and inference from data, preparing recommendations for the internal client. We have the ability to attach further important data sets from external and internal sources to analyze, monitor, and alert based on them, and this is what we are doing right now – we use the Qlik tool for basic reporting and the competencies of the analytical team.
Customer Service Department – ensures the fulfillment of orders for Clients of our individual structures and Business Units. Good relations with our Partners and the efficiency of realized orders are important to them.
Production Planning Department – is crucial in the context of the company's profitability. The specialists employed in it ensure that each product manufactured and delivered is in the quantities, deadlines, and locations appropriate to the current market needs. This department cooperates with many other Departments, including Marketing, Purchasing, Sales, as well as Production and Logistics. Based on various types of analyses, specialists working in this Department develop actions optimizing various aspects of the entire supply chain, such as complex production, planning, and logistics processes.
Warehouse – is a functional and organizational unit intended for storing material goods in a separate space of a warehouse building according to established technology, equipped with appropriate devices and technical means, managed and serviced by a team of people. The Warehouse – is to receive, store, and issue raw materials, packaging, and finished products. The basic tasks of warehouse employees include unloading and loading means of transport and supplying production halls with raw materials and packaging.
Legal Department – deals with comprehensive legal services for Maspex Group companies, supporting the operation and development of its business in Poland and abroad. The Legal Department provides necessary advisory, consulting, and executive support to all other Departments of the company, and in particular to Operational Departments, in every area of the Group's activity.
New Product Development – this is where the idea of every product begins, by examining trends, expectations, and needs of Consumers. Innovation, openness to new things, and creativity are the features needed for NPD work. People interested in market monitoring and not afraid of new challenges will find themselves perfectly here. Useful fields of study for work in the NPD Department include sociology and marketing.
Production – employed specialists deal with the implementation and coordination of current production strategies that respond to market demand. Experts in the Production area improve and optimize complex production processes.
Public Relations Department – deals with maintaining a positive image of our company in its environment, both internal and external. Specialists working here implement communication activities, informing Employees and Consumers on an ongoing basis about all activities undertaken by the company. As part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), we implement, among others, one of the largest national social programs for children and youth, we support local communities, conduct educational campaigns, and prepare campaigns and programs for Employees and their families. Meticulousness and creativity are important here.
Purchasing Department – This Department is responsible for purchasing all types of raw materials and packaging of optimal quality and at a competitive price needed for production in all company locations. They also ensure the continuity of production in conditions of dynamic market changes. Specialists working in this department primarily deal with obtaining and negotiating purchasing offers, searching for safe and innovative materials for production, and building good relationships with suppliers. This department adheres to high internal standards, consistent with the strictest norms and regulations.
Export Business Unit – the goal of this business unit is to develop the sales of our branded food and beverage products in foreign markets. Foreign sales currently constitute 32% of the company's revenue. Many interesting challenges are set before Export Employees responsible for cooperation with over 60 countries around the world. The areas for which the specialists in this team are responsible include: maintaining established commercial relations, preparing commercial offers and negotiating their terms, as well as acquiring new Contractors. It is also them who represent us at many prestigious foreign trade fairs and B2B meetings. Every day of working with a foreign client provides an opportunity to develop skills in communication using foreign language knowledge, negotiation in various cultural circles, and commercial competencies.
Innovation Management Department – is responsible for building an innovation ecosystem in the company and obtaining external financing for the implementation of ambitious and innovative projects. The projects implemented in this department allow not only for conducting R&D work on product or process innovations but also for implementing the assumptions of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and pro-environmental policy. The activity of this department is characterized by cooperation with all departments in the company, as well as with external partners, such as universities, research units, clusters, associations, foundations, and start-ups from both Poland and abroad. The Innovation Management Department cares for the image of Maspex as a Leader of Innovation in Poland and Europe.
Administration Department – is a kind of company showcase, as it is a link between external Clients and individual departments in the company. Organizationally, the department is divided into three secretariats serving individual office buildings, and additionally – the Management Board secretariat. The department's task is to relieve other departments of daily duties and streamline communication between them. The Secretariat is a mine of knowledge about the organizational division and functioning of the company and a place where you can get help in organizing business trips, sending correspondence, and preparing meetings, as well as placing orders, e.g., for office supplies or business cards. In summary, if you do not know where to find information or who to ask for help, contact the Secretariat in the office building where you work.
HSE Department (Health, Safety, and Environment) – is combined with environmental protection. It deals primarily with OHS training for employees, organizing additional courses (e.g., first aid, operating forklifts, hoists, etc.), reviewing working conditions in production departments, assessing occupational risk at positions, preparing post-accident documentation, fire protection in the plant, environmental reporting, and cooperation with supervisory authorities over working conditions (WIOŚ, PIP, PIS).
Business Development Department – constitutes an important part of the organization, supporting it in development and improving effectiveness by managing projects and initiatives. Thanks to this, the company is able to cope with the dynamically changing reality, search for innovative solutions, and implement them, which increases its competitive advantage and brings added value. The Business Development Department includes three project teams. The Product Team, whose Project Managers are responsible for introducing new products to the market from the entire Maspex Group portfolio. In turn, the General Organizational Projects Team manages projects improving the company's operation, and is also responsible for standardizing the project management process, implementing best practices in this area, as well as building and sharing project knowledge throughout the organization. The Disruption Team, on the other hand, focuses on seeking areas for improvement, as well as innovative business and organizational solutions, including conducting workshops and facilitations and challenging the status quo.
Specialists also operate in the Technical and Mechanical Departments in the company, who ensure the efficient and trouble-free operation of all equipment and machinery.
