Cointreau
Born in the Industrial Revolution and shaped by La Belle Époque, Cointreau has innovation in its DNA.
From the founding of the House of Cointreau in 1849, through the moment Édouard Cointreau introduced the recipe for the unique French orange liqueur, to the more than 300 international awards won around the world, the brand's rich history is marked by a series of landmark moments.
From the founding of the House of Cointreau to this day, these same techniques have been meticulously passed down and are still used today: the careful selection of orange peels with exceptional aromatic qualities, the harmonious blending of ingredients in search of the perfect balance of flavors, and finally, the grand finale – distillation in 19 custom-made copper stills, identical to those used by Édouard Cointreau over a century ago.
Today, Master Distiller Carole Quinton is the guardian of this masterful savoir-faire, ensuring that every sip of Cointreau is the essence of tradition and excellence.
