Glenfiddich
Glenfiddich is the most awarded single malt whisky in the world. It owes its current position to the efforts of William Grant and subsequent generations of his family. Grant built the distillery in Dufftown, Scotland, in Speyside, in a single year. The first drops of distillate flowed from Glenfiddich on December 25, 1887. Since then, the unique recipe and traditional production process have remained unchanged. Glenfiddich's incomparable flavor and aroma are the result of maturation in barrels ranging from Spanish sherry casks to American bourbon casks to Caribbean rum casks. Three ingredients remain unchanged in its production: the highest quality Scottish barley, yeast, and crystal-clear water from the underground Robbie Dhu spring.
• Glenfiddich whisky is the most awarded single malt whisky in the world
• It has won the most awards of any single malt Scotch whisky since 2000
• Awarded in the most prestigious competitions such as The International Wine & Spirit Competition and The International Spirits Challenge.
