Tullamore D.E.W.
Irish whiskey has been produced since 1829 according to a consistent recipe. It owes its creation and enormous success to its charismatic founder, Daniel Edmond Williams, whose initials (DEW) are reflected in the drink's name.
The history of Tullamore DEW began in Tullamore, in the heart of Ireland. The distillery's location was chosen deliberately: the Tullamore area was considered the most fertile land in Ireland, providing the highest quality barley and crystal-clear water. These resources are used to create one of the finest whiskeys in the world, renowned for its smoothness and unique character.
Each bottle of Tullamore DEW is a blend of the highest quality whiskeys: single malt, barley, and grain. Its exceptional flavor is achieved through triple distillation and at least three years of maturation in oak barrels previously used to age bourbon or sherry.
