2021: EIT Food Consumer Forum "Building Trust in Food"
What is the evidence for food safety? What should we look for to check its quality? What gives us confidence that what reaches store shelves has been tested? Questions related to food quality and safety abound, and this comes as no surprise to us. Consumer awareness and expectations of products are constantly growing, but are they paralleled by increased confidence in food? Beyond quality and safety, consumers are increasingly curious about how food production impacts the planet. The concept of sustainable development is of great interest to them. Whenever possible, we want to emphasize that these issues are equally important to us.
To ensure that consumers from all over Poland have direct access to expert knowledge, our company, together with the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw, organizes EIT Food Consumer Forum "Building Trust in Food" The event will be held online on Wednesday, December 15th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Distinguished speakers from universities such as the University of Warsaw, Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW), AGH University of Science and Technology, as well as Maspex, TÜV SÜD Polska, and IGI Food will be the special guest.
