#AnnualFoodAgenda Q3 2020
In the #AnnualFoodAgenda project, the third quarter of 2020 will be devoted to the topic of healthy eating.
"Truths and Myths About Nutrition" – educational workshops for high school and technical school students organized during the Maspex Group Open Days conducted remotely.
As a food producer, the Maspex Group wants to inspire young people to learn more about food and shape their own responsible eating habits during its Open Days. Therefore, it invites them not only to learn more about the company – one of the largest food companies in Poland – but also to participate in a specially prepared lesson combined with workshops on nutrition.
The aim of the "Truths and Myths About Healthy Eating" workshop is to discuss popular advice and principles regarding nutrition and developing good habits for the future. Dr. Agnieszka Piskała-Topczewska (dietician, nutritionist, and diet coach) will engage students by explaining truth and myth about nutrition and encourage participants to make informed decisions about their diet. Our expert is a graduate of the Faculty of Human Nutrition and Consumer Sciences at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and completed postgraduate pedagogical studies. She is one of a select group of diet coaches certified in Poland by the Wojciech Eichelberger Institute of Psychoimmunology. Dr. Agnieszka Piskała-Topczewska is the founder of the NUTRITION LAB Institute, which aims to build awareness of proper nutrition among Poles. She is a proponent of nutridietetics. She also speaks at leading conferences on nutrition and human health, authoring numerous articles on nutrition, and appears as an expert on morning television and radio programs. Co-author of books in which she debunks well-known and common nutritional myths.

During the workshops, students will also have the opportunity to actively brainstorm ideas for healthy eating and test their knowledge in a short quiz conducted using new remote working methods. At the end of each workshop, participants will be treated to a surprise competition that will not only spark their creativity but also encourage reflection on nutrition.
