The aim of the project was to create new, innovative fruit and vegetable products based on red carrots and white strawberries not yet produced on an industrial scale in Poland, which are a rich source of minerals, fiber, vitamins and phytochemicals with high health-promoting potential, as well as to introduce pro-ecological cultivation technologies and an improved method of production organization.

Project in consortium with the Łódź Agricultural Advisory Centre, Agricultural Farms and the Institute of Animal Reproduction and Food Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Olsztyn.

Total project value: PLN 6,737,288.09
Co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development in the amount of PLN 3,005,603.77, from national public funds in the amount of PLN 1,717,960.23 zloty.
