The goal of the project is a comprehensive measure to expand, modernise and increase the capacity of the R&D facilities by creating and equipping the R&D centre for ZPOW AN, with the existing research and development department operating in the production plant in Łowicz. Within the framework of the project implementation, it is planned to adapt the existing premises of the research and development department by carrying out the necessary renovation, adapting it to carry out advanced R&D works, and by purchasing the necessary infrastructure directly related to the objectives of the project, which will serve to conduct only R&D works for the development of innovative production technologies and fruit and vegetable products. The creation of new jobs and to cooperation with scientific institutions is planned. The result of the project will be the development of modern production technologies and the creation of a range of new, innovative products among fruit and vegetable preserves, using the created R&D infrastructure. Activities conducted by the R&DC will contribute to strengthening the position and building competitive advantage on the market of processed fruit and vegetable products, and consequently to enriching and diversifying the company’ commercial offer.
